Welcome to your engineering future!

On October 25th, engineers, hiring managers and executives from ComEd will be participating in the Engineering Job Fair and Networking Event, providing you the guidance you need to pursue a career with the company. As the grid changes to better integrate significant amounts of renewable generation, it will be the engineer of the future that makes this more sustainable and resilient possibility a reality. A wide range of ComEd engineering departments, from Distribution Capacity Planning to Transmission and Substation to Smart Grid, will host informational booths, helping you envision not just a ‘Day in the Life’ of a ComEd engineer, but a career.


We will have food, drinks and “meet & greets” with the ComEd Engineering leadership team including executives and hiring managers.


This event is by invite only, so please apply today for immediate consideration.  Event is being held in Lisle, Illinois on Friday, October 25th at 5:00 p.m. Please be advised next step in the screening process is completing our assessment.Please be on the lookout for an email which confirms our interest in your candidacy.

As stakeholders push to make the electric grid more resilient, reliable, and sustainable, ComEd is answering the call by installing innovative technologies like the first utility-operated microgrid cluster which helps support the integration of additional solar PV, developing standards to maximize the value of smart inverters, and support the penetration of electric vehicles including by the development and demonstration of a cyber-secure extreme fast charging (XFC) EV charging station.

 


Qualifications

  • Minimum: B.S. Engineering degree
