Actively participates in the development of budgets, year-end forecasts and monthly variance analyses with an emphasis on systems understanding and support. This position is also responsible for fulfilling ad hoc requests from various ComEd and Exelon sources to support decision-making. Individual must be flexible, proactive and able to work with ambiguity.

1. Prepare variance analysis of actual results to detailed monthly budget and latest forecast and work with financial system team to mitigate/resolve forecasting and planning concerns. Position has analysis responsibilities for monthly accounting close.

2. Prepare month-end, quarterly and full-year forecast/reports including: monthly financial packages, executive quarterly management and board meeting presentations. Participate in the development of current year and 5-year financial forecast.

3. Take ownership of certain systems and workflows the ComEd FP&A team utilizes to ensure processes are working as intended and partner with financial systems support team when necessary to troubleshoot issues and implement changes

4. Interacts with Corporate Planning, Corporate FP&A, Treasury, Financial Operations and Accounting groups in the development of budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and ad-hoc analyses.



• 4-year degree in financial related field and 2 to 5 years relevant experience.

• MBA/CPA Preferred 

• Analytical understanding accounting principals and financial statement relationships

• Effective written skills

• Thorough computer base analytical skills (Microsoft Office) 

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft and other financial systems preferred
